Who is Angelena, you may ask?

Hi!! My name is Angelena Browne, and I’m a performer born and raised in New Jersey, currently based in Chicago—but originally from Saint Kitts (a tiny Caribbean island paradise that everyone should visit at least once!).

My artistry is deeply rooted in my love for the world’s rich diversity. Coming from an immigrant household, I’ve spent my life traveling, living in different countries (shoutout to Nairobi, Kenya!), and discovering how art connects people across cultures. I’m grateful for my incredible training at Northwestern University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Theatre (Acting ) along with Musical Theatre and Integrated Marketing Certificates. While there, I had the honor of leading and singing in NU’s premier a cappella group, THUNK, and founding Vibrant Colors Collective, Northwestern’s first multicultural arts organization.

As an actor and singer, I thrive on versatility. Known for my captivating stage presence, I’ve tackled everything from theatre for young audiences to powerful dramas to showstopping musicals. I love bringing stories to life in ways that resonate and inspire.

Now, I’m excited to continue my artistic journey across New York/Chicago (but truly all over the world), seeking collaborations that spark social change through the arts. As the entertainment industry evolves, I’m committed to pushing for greater diversity, representation, and impactful storytelling.

Let’s create something unforgettable!
